Subhash is a man of few words and many deeds. He has savored many of life's experiences that are lost to today's generation, immersed and trapped by television and video games.
One of his earliest artistic influences was from helping to cast the giant images of Ganesh during the Ganesh Chaturthi festival. It involved weeks of labour and all of it was done with love and faith. The grounding for sculpture was laid here and from then on Subhash knew that a career in visual communication was what suited his temperament best.
He went into the four year arts course at the School of Art in Nagpur and passed with distinction. Since Bombay was usually the closest destination for those seeking to break into advertising, Subhash and his friends bucked the trend. By coming to Madras to seek their fortune. It proved to be a wise move as most of them got placed straight away at the various agencies in Madras.
Subhash first landed a job at RK Swamy / BBDO, moved on to Clarion (now Bates) and rose within the ranks. |

When tumultuous events caused upheavals at Clarion, Subhash left to join as one of the founding members of the agency, Fountainhead.
He worked with Fountainhead for fifteen years, helping to bring his native eye for colour and style to the vast mix of Fountainhead's clientele. From Ramco Cement to Ramco Systems, to FMCG brands like Fairever and Nyle and ISP broadband providers like Dishnet DSL.
He makes sure that the brand acquires it's own distinctive voice and look. To this end, he has carefully nurtured brands from their earliest pack designs to their unveiling on giant hoardings or at a glittering event. To applause and awards.
At some point Subhash is sure that he would like to go back to painting and sculpture. But right now, new brands are beckoning.
